Apricot time is jam time

No jam contains as little sugar as ours and nevertheless tastes absolutely delicious.

INGREDIENTS FOR 6 JARS à 200g

  • 1kg apricots, fully ripened (we prefer apricots from our neighbouring village of Sirmian)
  • 300 g sugar
  • 8 g apple pectin
  • 100 ml lemon juice

Method

Wash the apricots, remove the pits and cut into cubes. Bring the apricots to the boil in a pan with the sugar, apple pectin and lemon juice and continue to boil for approx. 6-8 minutes. Now pour the jam into sterile preserving jars and immediately close them airtight.

Now you can have a little bit of South Tyrol on your breakfast table every single day!
