Margarete – asparagus from Terlan
Year after year, between the end of March and the end of May, here at the Boutique Hotel Zum Rosenbaum we are filled with happy anticipation.
This is because with the first sun’s rays it is not just spring feelings that blossom. The first tips of the Margarete asparagus also begin to emerge from the ground. In pure delight at the regal vegetable, which comes from our own asparagus field, our head chef, Norbert Oberhöller, gets out his pen to write traditional and creative dishes on our menu that will spoil the connoisseur’s taste buds with royal flavour.
Naturally her majesty does not honour us with her presence alone – she is always accompanied by the Terlan asparagus wine (sauvignon).
