In our restaurant from Tuesday to Saturday – a fantastic cheese plate with different South Tyrolean cheeses and homemade chutneys. Every single cheese is selected by our bistro kitchen team in the winter months by tasting – only the best find place on our cheese plate. It is important for us to maintain contact with the dairy farmers, we are eager to learn and would like to follow every step of the cheese processing.

“Rosengarten” cheese from Learner Hof farm
About the farm: The farm is located in the village of Deutschnofen in the Dolomites at 1,360 metres above sea level, with views of the Rosengarten and the Latemar massif. In this craft cheese dairy traditional recipes are combined with modern technology. The result is raw milk-based cheeses of the highest quality that have already won a few prizes.
Now about the cheese itself: Its aroma is intense. It tastes like melted butter, mountain herbs and a little pepper.
