The climax is the Apple Week with the great Apple Festival: the main attraction of which is a procession with the largest apple crown in South Tyrol, and the crowning of the new Apple Queen.
Sunnseitn-Apple week is enjoyed annually up on the high apple plateau of Nals, when various restaurants in the town and its surroundings offer all sorts of specialities made from apples.
